ToonClix 

The ToonClix characters are all too familiar to players in the age group 6-12. So, they slip into the game easily and learn the game mechanics very fast. After all when Scooby, Daffy, Dexter, Space Ghost and the Power Puff Girls, to name a few, are yours to maneuver, fun filled times are guaranteed. Players of ToonClix will get to recreate the wacky and silly things that their favorite characters are capable of. Smiling laughing children will hop along with Bugs Bunny, the Scooby Doo gang, and Mucha Lucha as they bounce and slide around the ToonClix board.

The first set of ToonClix contains 36 collectible miniatures. Each miniature comes with a stat card that is used for determining moves during game play.

The goal of a game of ToonClix is charming. The player aims to take his characters to the highest state of happiness. The cute miniatures of ToonClix placed on the game board create a pretty backdrop for play.

ToonClix has a shaky past. It was announced in March 2006, but cancelled before it was released. Now slated for a September 2006 release, it holds a lot promise of clean happy fun. The release is planned to be earlier in hobby stores and a bit later in the mass market. The hobby stores also get to stock 12 exclusive ToonClix miniatures not to be released in the mass market.

ToonClix is a nonviolent game that has no starter set. Each game pack contains everything needed to play a game. Characters of one pack of ToonClix are bunched together based on the show that they are sourced from. This kind of bunching makes collecting a set very easy.

Each set of ToonClix will contain 18 miniatures, with the mass market getting only 24 of the total 39 ToonClix miniatures. TV ad campaigns in all the kids channels have been planned to popularize ToonClix.

The publishers of ToonClix, WizKids, are coming out with a Golden Scooby Doo promotion figure that is made of 14-carat gold.
