Description Of War of the Ring

The game of War of the Ring is based on the famous fantasy scenario of ‘Lord of the Rings’ trilogy created by Tolkien. The characters and strongholds in War of the Ring closely follow the descriptions given in the book.

Smooth game mechanics have been developed to weave an interesting game around this enchanting and thrilling legend.

A game of War of the Ring can be played by either two players or two teams. One side/player controls the Free Peoples and the other side/player controls the Shadow Armies.

In War of the Ring the Free People Nations are not willing to take up arms against the Dark Lord Sauron- their arch enemy. They need some persuasion in the form of attacks to get into fighting mode. The Political Track in War of the Ring shows whether or not a nation is ready for war. Conquest of a certain number of cities and strongholds of the opponents can bring victory.
